Sweet’s Syndrome UK has been added to the NZORD Support Group Directory

Sweet’s Syndrome UK has now been added to the New Zealand Organization for Rare Disorders (NZORD) Support Group Directory.

NZORD is a registered charitable trust that was set up in September 2000. It welcomes the full extended rare disease community (patients, family, friends, clinicians and researchers) as well as the common disease community by providing support, resources, advocacy and engaging in policy matters that affect the health of all New Zealanders.

Many thanks to NZORD and John Forman, the founder and former executive director for NZORD, for their support. As no Sweet’s syndrome group or organization exists in New Zealand, this will make it easier for those in New Zealand to access support and the information about Sweet’s syndrome that they need.

Also, a big thank you to our very own Sweetie, Gayle Chalmers, who has kindly agreed to be our New Zealand contact.
